Buying a house in Modesto California need advise?

Ok i have 722 credit score, and i bring home about 2200 a month. The house is going for 270,000. My brother brings home about 2000 to 2300 a month also and he is going to get the house with me. The thing is he recently filed for bankruptcy about 4 months ago. My question is if i try to use his credit, is it going to effect the interest rate on the loan in a negative way or positive way? also with just my credit what kind of interest am i looking to get?
